Sink into the relaxation that comes from being in an important (but very cozy) building, in a 'front-line village', in a beautiful setting; well fed, a roaring fire, a well-stocked bar, surrounded by good company and knowing that all you have to do is make your way up the stairs to your comfortable billet and dream of the wonderful things you've seen and felt during the day - sounds seductive doesn't it? Believe me - it is!

We offer several options serving several needs from single rooms to family self-catering. Discounts may be offered for groups of fifteen or more.

Comfortable B & B in the main house

Here at Avril's we pride ourselves on providing informal but clean and comfortable, easy-going, accommodation.The main house has five bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom/W. C. and each cleaned daily.

Bedrooms: Three x Twin rooms; One x Double room; One x Family Room
Guest's Lounge: We have a comfortable sitting room in which guests may relax. There are many books for you to read as well as a television (which is hardly ever used) piano and bar, so there is no need to be bored.
Breakfast and Evening Meals: Breakfast, which maybe either Continental, waitress-served English or a combination of both, is served in the Ocean Villas Tearooms.; Evening meals are always available for guests and are usually served in the Guesthouse dining room, where you may also view a selection of military objects and artifacts.; Non-residents requiring an evening meal should contact Avril in advance.

Self-catering or B & B in the Gîtes

We have two gîtes, each of which offers self-catering accommodation and are perfect for families and self-contained groups. We are flexible and are happy to consider allowing the the gîtes to be used for bed and breakfast or self-catering.

Each gîte has two twin rooms plus bed settee in the lounge area and a private bathroom and kitchen.

Confirm your booking
Having made a booking you will be asked to send a deposit. No body likes the idea of taking a deposit but it is made necessary by the fact that, having made a booking, some people and even some groups, don't bother to turn up and so we lose the opportunity to let the room.

Evening meals
Evening meals are available for guests, with wine provided.

Alternatively, there are restaurants in Albert and Bapaume both of which have ample parking and are within easy driving distance. The more adventurous might prefer to drive a bit further and sample the delights of Amiens or Arras.

Bedrooms are comfortable and are cleaned daily.

All our rooms have en suite facilities.
